Mac OS X problems (Tiger, Leopard)
Q: Why is Colorspace on OS X useless ?
A: The application is only tested on Java 1.5 + 32bit PPC + Tiger.
Try reading the download page for JavaApplicationStub advice or forcing Java 1.5 in the settings.
Teppefall uses the JavaApplicationStub directly and this causes problems. This is done because symbolic links can create process management problems.
ln -s /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Resources/MacOS/JavaApplicationStub Teppefall.app/Contents/MacOS/JavaApplicationStub and system calls might not work as expected.
Q: Why do you pretend to support OS X ?
A: We do support OS X. Java 1.5 + 32bit PPC + Tiger is tested routinely. Works great.
Q: What about Leopard ?
A: We were going to upgrade when Java 1.6 was everywhere (on OS X). That never happened. So Windows Vista and Linux got priority instead.
The latest build now include a Universal JavaApplicationStub and the older ones.
Q: Why do you still use Java 1.5 ?
A: Because Safari can't run anything higher than that.
Q: Colorspace froze my OS ?
A: Click the space bar.
Q: Where do I submit a bug report ?
A: Here.
